To review the importance
of support and supervision for staff in dealing with these
situations
To review and clarify the
role and responsibilities of managers and staff in providing
support and supervision in this situation
To review agency policies
and practice guidance in relation to this situation
To understand their roles,
responsibilities and boundaries in relation to working
effectively in (multi-disciplinary) teams
To highlight the ways in
which managers and team members can encourage other team
members to share and review critical decisions and provide
support to each other and so manage these difficult decisions
with the least possible stress for the professional worker
To demonstrate the ways in which effective
communication can provide a tool to support the professional
in managing this stressful work
