Aims and Objectives:

Aims:

  • To provide an opportunity for senior managers to explore and address the issues and challenges which they experience in the work place
  • To provide an opportunity to review recent developments in management theory and develop strategies to incorporate these ideas into work practices

Objectives:

  • To provide an opportunity for each participant to complete and receive individual feedback on Myers Briggs Type Indicator.
  • To review the implications of MBTI for the way in which managers communicate and manage staff, so as to better understand how to:
  • Give and receive criticism

  • Motivate staff

  • Manage stress

  • Build teams

  • Manage change

  • To complete Belbin questionnaires and to review their implications for the management of their teams
  • To develop strategies theoretical models and case studies to address issues which are current to participants.
