Aims:
- To provide managers with the knowledge and skills necessary to reach the optimal outcome in a negotiation.
Objectives:
- To review the way which managers currently use
- To identify the problems and challenges which participants meet in negotiating outcomes.
- To establish the ways in differing people may perceive and make decisions and hence the differing ways in which information may need to be presented in order to be received more positively.
- To extend the range of presentation skills
- To review methods by which budgets need to set and managed
- To review the methods by which a win-win situation is more likely to achieved.
- To set up a personal action plan for improved negotiations
Methods
The course will comprise an opportunity for managers to discuss the challenges, which they meet in negotiating best outcomes. Opportunities will then be provided to work in groups with exercises, case studies and role-plays to extend their expertise.
