AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
- To help participants to deal constructively with communication, stress, anger and difficult situations in the workplace in a non-confrontational way.
- To provide an opportunity for participants to understand the value of these skills in the effective workplace.
- To enable participants to distinguish between assertive, aggressive, passive and submissive behaviour.
- To enable participants to express their needs, communicate and manage difficult feelings by being assertive at work.
- To help participants deal with criticism and difficult situations in the workplace.
- To practice assertive behaviour in a range of work situations
- To understand the links between good communication and assertiveness
