Synopsis:
Imcot offers a series of courses, which
address managers supporting staff who are at risk of violence or
aggression from service users, and courses for staff in managing
difficult situation where there is a risk of violence and
aggression.
The courses cover the following issues:
- Health and safety legislation and other
appropriate legislation
- Organisation policies and practice guidance
- Individual liability and responsibility
- Boundaries
- Risk assessment
- Intervention strategies
- Layout of work place including lighting and
purveyance equipment
- Support and supervisions
Programmes are developed to meet the specific
requirement of the organisation taking into account the roles of
participants and the organisational policies
